Jesse doesn’t need to prove he’s not a nerd; he just wants people to see his science fair project matters. When things go wrong, he escapes to 1947 Brooklyn to see Jackie Robinson’s first game. But his want for a souvenir ball gets him thrown out of the stadium and stranded in the past with no way home.

Now he has to get back into Ebbets Field and find what he lost. What he discovers is bigger than any souvenir: a lesson about perseverance.
